The Ministry of ICT, Postal and Courier Services yesterday successfully hosted the Digital Economy Conference at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo, bringing together industry experts, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the digital economy landscape.
ZITF began yesterday and will run until April 27.
Speaking virtually from Kenya, Minister of ICT, Hon Tatenda Mavetera expressed her gratitude to stakeholders for their attendance and emphasised the importance of digital transformation as a key pillar for businesses to leverage digital technologies and remain competitive in today’s fast-paced environment.
Conference participants shared insights on the latest e-commerce trends, consumer behaviors, and strategies for online businesses to thrive in the digital marketplace.
The event explored the role of innovation in driving disruption across various industries, presenting examples of successful digital disruptors and their impact on traditional business models.
